Today Our very own Jade K. talks about piercing through scar tissue:

• You may have a piercing that rejected or maybe you took it out and now you changed your mind and want it back. Can you get it re-pierced?

• There is a chance that it can hurt a bit more though if you're piercing through scar tissue which is a little bit tougher. Not everyone experiences this but some definitely might!

• Before getting any piercing re-pierced, let it heal up completely!! 3 months is about the minimum wait time for most piercings to heal up but absolutely get your piercer's opinion in person of course.

• Always consult with a really good piercer in any situation. Especially in this case, a seasoned pro might be able to help you get the look you're going for without having to go right through that same spot.

• One last tip! Please, PLEASE, don't try to re-pierce yourself at home! There are so many risks but especially if you're dealing with scar tissue :)
