Today, July twentieth, is Moon Day. This is a special holiday, particularly in the United States, commemorating the historic day that man first walked on the moon. On this day in 1969, Apollo 11 touched down in the sea of tranquility, and American astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin Jr. took their first steps onto the lunar surface and planted a flag. We may not be able to go to the moon in celebration, but wearing the moon can be the next best thing. Cosmic fashion has been booming this year, and a little slice of the heavens is the perfect finishing touch to a smokin’ hot Summer wardrobe. Like mom always said, “reach for the stars.”
